International Yoga Day

When the country’s leader puts an effort in highlighting and promoting the nation’s culture out to the world, it becomes a responsibility of us as a citizen of the country to assist in doing so. Today we, Florescent Public School did the same thing for our International Yoga Day which was initiated by the Prime Minister of the country.

Florescent Public School organised an activity for the students to do yoga at the campus. A bright early morning with the campus ground filled with students wearing 4 distinct colours, Red for Group Abhimanyu, Blue for Dhruv, Green for Eklavya and Yellow for Prahlad. Not only was this to promote the Indian Yoga culture but it also benefits the students. Research suggests that yoga might improve attention and memory and alleviate academic stress, three factors that are important for academic success.

Florescent Public School wishes everyone a very Happy International Yoga Day. May we all achieve emotional regulation, academic performance, reduced anxiety and resilience to stress and strive to achieve our goals.
